By downloading or using Aroha, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Using Aroha

Aroha is a personal habit-tracking tool. You may use it for lawful, personal purposes only. You must not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it in ways that violate any applicable laws.

Your account and data

Your habit data is stored on your device and optionally in your iCloud account. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and Apple ID. We are not liable for data lost due to device loss, account issues, or accidental deletion.

AI features

AI can make mistakes

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Treat AI suggestions as a starting point for your own thinking, not as factual guidance. Do not rely on AI features for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions. You remain responsible for any choices you make based on AI output.

Usage limits

AI features may be subject to usage limits (for example, a set number of requests per day or month) depending on your plan. Limits may be adjusted to maintain service quality and prevent abuse. If you reach your limit, AI features will pause until the limit resets or you upgrade to a plan with a higher allowance.

What not to enter

Do not enter sensitive personal information — such as passwords, medical records, or financial account numbers — into AI prompts. We are not responsible for information you voluntarily submit to AI features.

Subscriptions and purchases

Aroha offers a free tier and an optional Aroha Premium subscription. If you choose to subscribe:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the time of purchase confirmation.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • To manage or cancel, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
  • We do not offer refunds outside of what Apple's standard policies provide.

Intellectual property

All content, design, and code in Aroha is owned by or licensed to Axiant Labs Private Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

Aroha is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Axiant Labs Private Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Aroha.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via the updated date above. Continued use of Aroha after changes means you accept the updated terms.
