By downloading or using Mynk, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. Your use of Mynk is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Using Mynk

Mynk is a shared expense and personal finance tracking tool. You may use it for lawful, personal purposes only. The app allows you to track personal expenses and income, split group expenses, and record settlements. You must not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it in ways that violate any applicable laws.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mynk. Mynk offers sign-in via phone number OTP, Sign in with Apple, and Sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account. We make reasonable efforts to keep your data safe and available, but we are not liable for data lost due to device loss, account issues, or accidental deletion.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@axiantlabs.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed; shared group records may be retained in anonymised form so that other members' balances remain accurate.

Groups and shared data

When you create or join a group, other members can see the expenses, settlements, receipt images, comments, and display names within that group. You are responsible for the accuracy of expenses and settlements you add, and for ensuring that any receipt images or comments you share do not contain sensitive information you do not wish group members to see.

Share invite links and join codes only with people you trust.

Mynk is a record-keeping tool, not a financial institution. We do not process payments, hold funds, or guarantee that any member will settle their debts. Any financial arrangements between group members are solely between those members.

Reminders

You may send payment reminders to other group members via push notifications. Use this feature responsibly. Do not use reminders to harass or pressure others.

Your content

You retain ownership of any content you add to Mynk, including expense descriptions, comments, notes, and receipt images. By adding content to a group, you grant other group members the ability to view it. You must not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or that infringes on the rights of others.

Data export

Mynk may offer the ability to export group data. Exported data is for your personal use. You must not use exported data to harass, embarrass, or harm other group members.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • enter false or misleading expense records to defraud other group members;
  • use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the app;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts, groups, or our systems;
  • interfere with the app's operation, security, or infrastructure;
  • harass or abuse other users or our support team.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions and purchases

If paid features are introduced, all purchases will be processed by Apple (or Google, where applicable) and subject to their respective payment terms. Virtual features or premium entitlements have no monetary value outside the app and are non-transferable.

Intellectual property

All content, design, and code in Mynk is owned by or licensed to Axiant Labs Private Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

Mynk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use is at your own risk. In particular, balance calculations are provided for convenience and do not constitute financial, legal, or accounting advice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Axiant Labs Private Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Mynk, including loss of data, inaccurate balance calculations, or disputes between group members.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Mynk shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the updated date above. Continued use of Mynk after changes means you accept the updated terms.
